Overview
The Hall of Two Truths is where Anubis weighs the souls of the dead.
A cathedral-scale chamber of black stone and gold. At its centre stands a single set of scales. On one side: a feather. On the other: a human heart.
Visual Language
- Black stone and polished obsidian throughout.
- Gold detailing and sacred geometry on every surface.
- Walls covered in hieroglyphs that subtly move when not observed directly.
- A perfectly reflective obsidian floor.
- No windows. No visible light sources.
- The only illumination comes from the scales themselves, glowing with a faint golden radiance.
- Beyond the chamber's edge: absolute darkness.
- When the scales tip wrongly, something moves within that darkness. You never see it clearly.
Mood & Atmosphere
Ancient.
Sacred.
Terrifyingly impartial.
This is not a courtroom. This is a machine of divine judgment that existed long before humanity had language for morality.
Reference Feelings
The weight of judgment.
A room that has existed since before time had a name.
